Michael Dupuy scores his first O'Reilly SUPR Sprint victory
Dupuy
was helped by the fact that Vidrine was busy fending off a 4 way battle
for second between Vidrine, Butch David, Michael Herrington and Shane
Morgan. Vidrine was able to
hold on to second ahead of last night’s winner Herrington.
Butch David recovered from last night’s dnf to finish fourth
while Harold
Henderson finished 6th ahead of Darrell Hyde who struggled with
motor troubles but rebounded to finish seventh.
Glynn LeBlanc returned to the tour with an 8th place
finish while Herman Carrier recovered from his early altercation to finish

came home in 10th one position ahead of his The race was slowed by two cautions, the first on lap 4 when Herman Carrier and Steve Murphy got together and the second was on lap 9 when Paul Gleber spun. Top Qualifier Butch David and Terry Vidrine won the two heat races and started on the front row with Vidrine grabbing the early lead down low but his lead only lasted until the first caution which is when Dupuy mounted his charge in the Trailer World/Lester’s Body Shop #00 car.
