67 Speedway rained out!
I-30 Speedway on tap for Late Models on Saturday night!
Sprints await Deep South completion!

Rouge, Louisiana (June 17, 2004) - The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models return to
Arkansas this weekend has been cut to a one day show as the Friday night
June 18th show at 67 Speedway in Texarkana has been rained out.
The O’Reilly SUPR Late Models will still make the run up
Interstate 30 to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock where they’ll compete in a
50-lap $3,000 to win, $500 to start feature on Saturday night, June 19th. Also,
the O’Reilly SUPR Sprint Car show slated for Saturday night, June 19th
at Deep South Raceway in The
O’Reilly SUPR Late Models point leader entering this weekend is Rob
Litton of His
closest competitor is dirt late model legend Doug Ingalls, the winningest
driver in SUPR history with 39 victories to his credit.
Ingalls, a three-time SUPR Champion from 2000-2001
SUPR Champion Jay Blair from Angie, Louisiana is another competitor that
is returning to winning form, heading to Arkansas after topping the
competition last Saturday night at Pike County Speedway in McComb,
Mississippi. Ryan Plaisance

has made some rule changes this year that should make it more attractive
for the local area Late Model competitors to compete with the O'Reilly
SUPR Late Models. SUPR will
allow WRS-55 tires on the rear at all of the I-30 Speedway shows. This
is couple with the weight break changes announced earlier this year (open
motors must weigh 2250 lbs. - down from 2300 at the end of the race and
aluminum blocks motors are no longer required to carry 50 lbs. in front of
the motor plate) and the I-30 events should be a competitive match-up
between the SUPR touring pros and the local Arkansas racers. Joining
the O'Reilly SUPR Late Models at I-30 Speedway will be the IMCA Modifieds,
Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks. Gates
