Pike County SUPR Late Models rained out & Deep South SUPR Sprint Cars a wash out as well
McComb, Mississippi (August 21, 2004) - Heavy morning thunder storms and a forecast calling for showers throughout the day have force Pike County Speedway officials to cancel tonight's O'Reilly SUPR Late Model race. No make-up date has been announced. The next O'Reilly SUPR Late Model race is scheduled for Saturday night, September 4th at Thunder Valley Speedway in Glenmora, Louisiana. The race will be run by Forest Hill Speedway's management. The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will then travel to Champion Park Speedway as part of the big Labor Day weekend double header. The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will race at Champion Park in Doyline, Louisiana on Sunday night, September 5th.
As for the O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Cars, the weather waited longer but the effect was the same as the first-ever visit to Deep South Speedway for the Sprinters was rained out prior to the races began when a heavy line of rains rolled through and put an end to the races. The O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Cars will return to Deep South Speedway as tonight's races have been rescheduled for Saturday, September 11th. The next race for the O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Cars will be next Saturday night, August 28th at Baton Rouge Raceway.
