1st Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Cajun Classic to kick off season for SUPR Late Models!
Baton Rouge, Louisiana (January 13, 2005) - The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models and Baton Rouge Raceway have released details on the 1st Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Cajun Classic to be held on Saturday and Sunday February 26th & 27th. The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will compete in twin 30 lap features with each race paying $2,000 to win. A bonus of $1,000 will be paid to the low point finisher for a possible $5,000 to win for the weekend. The action will kick off with an open Friday night practice on February 25th from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. followed by heat race action on Saturday night. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday with racing beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Sunday will start off with last chance features followed by the twin-30 lap features. Gates will open at 12:00 p.m. (noon) and racing will begin at 2:00 p.m. Joining the O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will be the UMP Modifieds ($700 to win), Limited Modifieds ($200 to win), Street Stock ($250 to win) and Pure Stock ($200 to win).
