O’Reilly SUPR Late Model Champion Rob Litton Ready for Texas!

FORT WORTH-DALLAS (March 1, 2005) – Rob Litton, the defending champion of the O’Reilly SUPR Late Model Series, is ready for big challenges in Friday and Saturday night’s Pro-Cuts Texas World Dirt Track Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.  Litton will face one of the premier fields of dirt late models in the Southwest along with NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series star Ken Schrader.

The Pro-Cuts Texas World Dirt Track Championship features two evenings of O’Reilly SUPR late model competition along with the area’s leading modified stock cars.  Fans may obtain two free tickets for one evening of racing with a qualifying purchase at participating Pro-Cuts salons in
North Texas
.

Litton, from Alexandria , LA , continued the Cajun State domination of the O’Reilly SUPR Late
Model Series with his first career series championship last year.  In the 15-year history of the series, nine championships have been won by Louisiana drivers.

“I’m glad we ran for the championship and won it last year,” said Litton.  “It gives you a whole
new respect for the guys that chase championships.  It is tough, a lot more work than you
would think.  All of us on the team work full-time jobs and race for fun.”

The driver of the LMS Truck Center/Brown’s Trucking late model is looking forward to hooking
horns with NASCAR star Schrader at the Dirt Track this weekend.

“Hopefully we can outrun him,” said the champion.  “We have been beaten by him and have defeated him in the past.  We parked next to Ken at a dirt race last year and had a great time
with him and his team.”

Litton is a disciple of the O’Reilly SUPR spec engine that significantly reduces the cost of
going late model racing.  He utilizes a Wall-to-Wall Performance powerplant in his Rocket
chassis.

“This is what the SUPR series is all about.  Nearly all the teams, 80 to 90 percent, use the
spec engine.  It allows teams like our’s to race and compete.

“It is really neat to be associated with Texas Motor Speedway and a weekend like this.  This
will be one of our biggest shows of the year, the stands will be jammed.”

Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. each day with the first race slated to get the green flag at
5 p.m.
Information about on site camping for the weekend is available by calling (817) 215-8500.
