Lee Davis claims 4th career O'Reilly SUPR Late Model feature at Champion Park!
Rob
Litton was the B&K Underground Top Qualifier and started on the pole
but it was Merchant who got the jump on the start from the inside of row
2. Merchant was back in his
Warrior this weekend and he looked strong as he set the pace up front but
it was Davis who would get quicker as the race progressed and he was able
to run down Merchant to take the win.
Kenny Merchant held on for second and in the process he gained valuable championship points as current leader David Ashley had trouble ending up 21st. Merchant cut Ashley’s lead from 157 points to just 65 points now separating first and second.
