O'Reilly SUPR Labor Day Weekend X 4
Baton Rouge, Louisiana (August 28, 2005) - The upcoming Labor Day weekend will represent a rare opportunity for race fans to attend for straight nights of O'Reilly SUPR racing action. It all begins on Friday night, September 2nd when the O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Cars visit Baton Rouge Raceway as part of a complete racing program that will also include the Mississippi Modifieds, Late Models, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and a Demolition Derby. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m.
The action will then shift north to Haughton, Louisiana where the O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will compete along with a full local racing program including Open Wheel Modifieds, SIMS Limited Modifieds, Southern Stocks, Hot Stocks, Trucks and Cruisers. This will be the final night of points racing at Champion Park for the 2005 season so the action will be intense throughout the night. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday night will see the O'Reilly SUPR Late Models back in action this time at Thunder Valley Speedway. Thunder Valley will see the O'Reilly SUPR Late Models, UMP Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks and Mini Stocks competing. The gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and racing will get underway at 7:00 p.m.
Finally on Monday night, September 5th, the O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Cars will return to action as part of Simpson County Motorsports Park's 15th Anniversary celebration. The race program will also the UMP Modifieds racing for $1,500 to win along with Late Models, Southern Modifieds, Street Stocks, Modified Trucks and Mini Stocks. The gates will open at 12:00 noon and the track will be serving free food in the pits until 3:00 p.m. The hot laps begin at 4:00 p.m. and the features will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Sprints getting an early starting slot.
