David Ashley tops Champion Park challengers!

Haughton, Louisiana (March 17, 2007) - David Ashley is undefeated in O'Reilly SUPR Late Model action this year as he won the feature tonight at Champion Park Speedway from the pole position. Ashley, who won the season opener at Baton Rouge Raceway, returned to SUPR competition as if he never left off outrunning Ricky Ingalls at the start of the race and lapping all but the top five cars at the checkers. Ashley was followed at the line by second generation O'Reilly SUPR competitor Kyle Cummings who continues to impress. Bubba Mullins came home third ahead of Jody Prince and Allen Tippen. Ray Moore finished seventh to retain his early season lead in the battle for the 2007 O'Reilly SUPR Championship. Moore leads Tippen by 69 points with Jon Mitchell, Ryan Plaisance and Jason Ingalls rounding out the top 5.

32 O'Reilly SUPR Late Models were on hand. Kyle Cummings, David Ashley, Ryan Plaisance, Ricky Ingalls and Walyon Morris won the heats with Jon Mitchell and Howard Willis earning the last chance wins.
