Locust Grove, Arkansas (April 7, 2007) - The second night of racing action at Batesville Speedway has been cancelled due to unseasonable cold weather, weather that kept down attendance on the opening night at the Ozark racing palace. The O'Reilly SUPR Late Models will take next weekend off before traveling to Southeast Texas for two nights of racing action kicking off the racing on Friday night, April 20th at Motorama Speedway in Beaumont, Texas followed by a visit to the newly reconfigured Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Texas on Saturday night, April 21st.
The O'Reilly SUPR Modifieds will be in action tonight as the series visits South Mississippi Speedway in Long Beach, Mississippi. The O'Reilly SUPR Modifieds will battle over 20 laps for $750 to win. Danny Hebert of Duson, Louisiana currently leads the standings but he's heading into Rusty Copper's home track. Cooper, from Saucier, Mississippi trails Hebert by just 10 points in the championship standings. Right behind the lead duo is Tommy Cannon from Denham Springs, Louisiana, just 12 points behind Cooper and 22 behind Hebert. The O'Reilly SUPR Modifieds will return to action next Friday night, April 13th at Baton Rouge Raceway for Ken Schrader Night. Ken Schrader will battle it out with all the best O'Reilly SUPR Modifieds in a 20-lap $750 to win feature race.
