David Breazeale hexes the competition at Motorama!
Beaumont, Texas (April 20, 2007) – David Breazeale found that Voodoo and Gumbo mix very well in Beaumont. Breazeale traveled a long way from his home in Four Corners, Mississippi to try his luck on the Gumbo Clay of Motorama Speedway and he proved to be up to the task wheeling the Voodoo Motorsports to the victory as the O’Reilly SUPR Late Models returned to the Southeast Texas facility.
Breazeale was wheeling a new MasterSbilt with a fresh Jay Dickens motor in the rails. Breazeale started on the outside of Top Qualifier Lee Davis and used his Dickens horsepower to motor to the front at the drop of the green Breazeale was clearly the fastest car in the early stages building a comfortable lead over Davis. An early caution that saw Ryan Fontenot and Patrik Daniel eliminated did little to slow Breazeale’s pace. The mid stages saw Davis draw closer to Breazeale but his car began to tighten in the late stages of the race and Breazeale was able to pull away to a decisive victory in the 40-lap main event.
24 O’Reilly SUPR Late Models were on hand. Ryan Plaisance, Lee Davis and David Breazeale won the heat races with Eddie Taylor scoring the last chance win.
