*MITCHELL/MOORE DUEL AT LOUISIANA'S OLDEST DIRT TRACK*

GREENWOOD, LA. (May 28) - As Mitchell worked his way to an early lead Saturday night at Boothill Speedway, the defending champion felt tremendous pressure from 2007 titlist, Ray Moore, throughout the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing Series' 40-lap main event.

With just four or five laps down, Moore charged deep into turn two, striking the back of Mitchell's Team 5 MasterSbilt, giving the No. 93 a disfigured ...nose, making it not suitable for optimal aerodynamics.

Once lap traffic played a significant role into the mix for the lead, Moore jumped on the opportunity to grab the point on lap 27.

The 2007 SUPR Champ led the next four laps, but Mitchell would regain the advantage on the backstretch at lap 31.

A late race caution with four laps to go, meant Mitchell would have to get up on the wheel for the final remaining circuits and that's exactly what he did, closing out the win to grab his first series' victory of the season and 19th overall.
