No time trials are run.
The number of heat races run will be
determined by the number of entries. Drivers draw for starting
positions in the heat races.
Depending on the number of entries, one
or two consolation races are run that transfer four cars to the
feature. Cars are lined up according to heat race finish combined
with passing points (1.5 points per car passed).
The highest-ranked two drivers in the top
15 in SUPR points that fail to qualify for the feature will be added
to the rear of the field with a promoter's option (if used).
Alternates may be used to fill 20-car qualifying field.
The top 16 starting positions for the
feature race are determined by heat-race finish combined with
passing points (1.5 points per car passed). One or two (depending on
number of entries) consolation races will transfer the remaining
four cars to the 22-car feature field. |
