Billy Gunter is from Star, Mississippi and is an Industrial Craftsman.  Gunter began racing sprint cars in 1972. Gunter is 48 years old and is married to Susan.  Billy and Susan have a son Adam who is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force.  Billy is a former American Sprint Car Series Mississippi State Champion and Jackson Motor Speedway Champion (1997) and was the International Karting Federation Mississippi State Champion in 1969, 1970 and 1972.
