Updated - New Races Added to Late Models and Sprint Schedule!
Baton Rouge, LA (February 3, 2003) - The 2003
O'Reilly SUPR Late Model and Sprint Car schedules were updated today
with the addition of 3 Late Model events slated at 67 Texarkana
Speedway in Texarkana, Arkansas and a newly announced Sprint Car show at Flomaton
Speedway in Flomaton, Alabama. The 2003 O'Reilly SUPR Late Model season is
highlighted by the first ever O'Reilly SUPR All Star Race of
Champions at Baton Rouge Raceway in March, a return to Devil's Bowl
Speedway in July while the Sprint Cars will see an expanded schedule that will see the drivers visit Texas for the first time with
April date at Lone Star Speedway as well as the previously mention
foray into Alabama.
The O'Reilly SUPR Late Model Series now in its 14th
season of racing will once again kick off with the 4th Annual Mardi
Gras Nationals held at Pike County Speedway on February 28 - March
1. The series will return to Leesville 171 Speedway on May 16
and Devil's Bowl Speedway on July 3. The O'Reilly SUPR Late
Models will compete in 39 nights of racing at 12 tracks in 4
states. The latest addition to the O'Reilly SUPR Late Model
Series will be the O'Reilly SUPR All Star Race of Champions that
will guarantee a starting spot for every former O'Reilly SUPR Late
Model Champion. The race will be held at Baton Rouge Raceway
and will feature Saturday night qualifying and Sunday afternoon

The O'Reilly SUPR Sprint Car Series now in its
second season has expanded to 25 events with first-time visits
slated for Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas), Many Motor Speedway
(Many, Louisiana), Thunder Valley Speedway (Glenmora, Louisiana), Leesville 171 Speedway (Leesville,
Louisiana) and Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, Alabama. The O'Reilly
SUPR Sprint Cars continues to gain momentum with the series now
spanning 4 states and 10 races tracks.

All Star Race of Champions Announced!
Baton Rouge, Louisiana (January 8,
2003) - Calling all former O'Reilly SUPR Late Model
Champions! O'Reilly Auto Parts and Baton Rouge Raceway
have teamed together to honor the 10 former champions.
The 10 former champions will be guaranteed a starting spot in
the first ever O'Reilly SUPR All Star Race of Champions to be
held at Baton Rouge Raceway on March 8-9. The race will
feature two 40 laps segments and will pay $6,000 to the
winner.
And
when we speak of O'Reilly SUPR Champions it all begins with
Doug Ingalls, the first series champion (1990, 1992, 1994),
the only three time champion and the winningest driver in SUPR
history with 37 victories including last year's Armadillo
Nationals. Joining Doug Ingalls in receiving a
guaranteed starting position in the O'Reilly SUPR All Star
Race of Champions will be Tony Cardin (1991), Donald Watson
(1993), Ronnie Poche' (1995), Ricky Ingalls, (1996), Butch
Patton (1997), Rusty Cummings (1998), David Ashley (1999), Jay
Blair (2000, 2001) and Rodney Wing (2002).
